Established  in January 1999 as a Landscape Curbing Company.  My partner and I called  the company "Coastal Concrete Edge"  Shortly after starting we recognized the need for a good solid Footer or Foundation  installed under our curb, just like pavers are required to have to this day.  This additional product installed under our curb differentiated us from other curb companies,   Quality became our vision and other improvements also came along with the introduction of curb coatings. In 1993, I split from my partner and as 'Classic Decorative Concrete', I expanded to also  do Decorative Concrete Coatings . I did training with Renew-Crete, Stardek and Superstone  / Cline Stamp .  During this training periods learned the value of polymer in my coatings on Driveways patios and Coated Curbing as well. Expanded my business to include Decorative Concrete in 1994.  trained at  three local decorative  supply companies here in  Central Florida, Expanded services to include Stamp Concrete, Overlay Stamp Concrete, Epoxy flooring systems,  Spray Concrete Coatings  with Stencils, Concrete Stains and Xylene based Pigmented colored sealer, ,Micro Topping,  Water based Eco-Stains, Garage Epoxy-Coat Flooring System with Flakes, Pressure Washing and Sealing Wood decks to just mention a few.  We also  recognized a need for cleaning pavers, resanding and resealing them  with the proper methods & products.  We saw the horrific bad results with the wrong cleaning procedures and the wrong products.  Although pavers are concrete they are much different in  the care and maintenance compared to concrete slabs,   Here  at Matrix Deco-crete & Curb we are trained and certified in the proper procedures to clean re-sand and reseal pavers.  Mistakes in any of the Decorative concrete applications are very costly and completely avoidable!  Just use installers  with the experience and pride in doing a great job!!!
